Commercial Cleaning

You may think that a commercial cleaner has a self-explanatory job description. Although we perform the usual cleaning tasks of sweeping, mopping, and dusting, there’s a lot more to our role. Usually, businesses hire us to perform a deep cleaning and disinfection, which requires specific products, tools, equipment, and trained personnel. We want to make sure our clients understand what we include in our commercial cleaning services, so we outlined our duties and responsibilities as commercial cleaners below:

Adjusting our cleaning methods to each client:

Commercial cleaners have clients in many industrial sectors such as shops, schools, restaurants, and medical centers. All of our clients require different cleaning regimens. For example, a restaurant has a kitchen that requires specific cleaning products and equipment to be considered safe for food handling. Additionally, a medical center is very adamant about disinfection to ensure viruses don’t spread amongst patients. The pandemic has also caused different cleaning regimens to pop up. Many businesses now request our new electrostatic disinfection services to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Once we understand the needs and expectations of our client, we decide which products and staff members are best suited to perform the expected service.

Our cleaning regimen:

Our cleaning process varies on whether our client requires a routine daily/weekly service or a monthly/yearly deep cleaning. For regular cleaning services, we sweep and mop hard floors, vacuum carpeted floors, dust furniture, clean bathrooms, and empty trash. For a more in-depth deep cleaning service, we will perform all of the above in addition to window cleaning, carpet cleaning, polishing/waxing floors, dusting light fixtures, vacuuming furniture, and cleaning tile grout.

Our disinfecting regimen:

Cleaning should not be confused with disinfecting. Cleaning is only able to remove visible dust, stains, dirt, and debris. Disinfecting, however, removes all those pesky pathogens that make us feel sick by using products with active disinfectants on floors, furniture, and other high contact areas. Many of our clients request cleaning and disinfection services to ensure their business is free of debris, allergens, and bacteria. Therefore, our staff uses active disinfectants on surfaces after cleaning. Additionally, due to the pandemic, research has proven the effectiveness of electrostatic spraying services. Electrostatic spraying uses an air compressor that evenly sprays surfaces with an electrostatically charged disinfectant. This charge sanitizes spaces with a large force that begins working within two minutes and remains active for up to 4 days. We perform this service if our client wants extra protection from COVID-19 and other pathogens.
